Hamilton To Ferrari

  1. If the ones that are online are the genuine article. i think most Company's would see it as a very serious disciplinary issue.

Word i have heard is that if Horner is sacked, most of the vital Red Bull staff have it in their contracts that they can leave too.

  2. It reminds me of man utd's decision to umm and ahh about keeping mason greenwood until their sponsors told them it wasnt the right thing to do.
Grim (although nowhere near as grim as the mason greenwood case of course).

  3. The Horner saga is nothing new, in the last 2 or 3 years there have been several, very senior executives exposed in “relationships” with junior staff that were sacked for breach of contract. “It takes two to Tango”, Horner wouldn’t be the first man to take advantage of his position, nor is it the first time a woman has used her wiles to advance her position in business. Had they both been working for Poundland, we’ed never of heard of it. Andy

  5. Wasn’t it Newey who owned up to leaking emails with links to the images Horner allegedly sent to the woman, to the press behind Red Bull management’s back ? Thought I read during the last F1 round, Newey was touting for another job. Andy

  6. Newey may be the person who leaked the Horner emails, but AFAIK this has not been confirmed by him, RB or anyone else.

There are no teams in F1 or Americas Cup that would not sign Newey immediately if they had the wherewithal to do so. Newey has designed more F1 championship winning cars than anyone ever -at Williams, McLaren and Red Bull. Arguably he is the single most decisive factor in F1 success for the last 40 years.

This move will almost certainly be his last and I wonder which team will be the lucky one to land him.

  7. I was initially thinking Ferrari but. Aston would be a good guess, far more scope to make a difference in shorter time frame, closely followed by Max :)

  8. Watched the start of the Monaco grand prix turned over after the lap one red flag, been to the pub for a pint with the dogs, picked up some beers on the way home, fed the dogs and theyre still driving around in exactly the same position.

How the do people watch this utter shit on a weekly basis?
