Well, ironically, its even easier than last time....its got Nitron pro catridges in it now which are way easier to drain than the old stock internal cartridges...
Popped into Sportsbike Shop yesterday to buy some decent bike jeans and ankle boots for hooning about in locally. Picked a nice pair of RST black denims out and some A* Faster 3 boots, went to the counter and stood there for 20 minutes while typical bike bore regaled cashier number one with his entire history of helmets he’d bought while the other cashier sat on the phone trying to get another wally 10% off a £15 thermal set “approved by management”. Left <£400 worth of gear on the counter, walked out and just bought same on the www (Visor Shop) which worked out at £27 cheaper
Rear shock out last night in 25 mins...and that includes getting the bike on footpeg stands...4 bolts, 2 holding the preload adjuster, one on each end of the shock...easy peasy...

Insured the incoming Monster, as it’s going into build this week. Bit peeved about paying an admin fee, when my insurance is up for renewal next month, but don’t see the point in renewing a month early.
Renewed the insurance on the Multi but not with Ducati insurance this time as they'd almost doubled the premium from last year and would only budge 7% After a few ring around and Web searches I finally got sorted with Motorcycle Direct who were 32% cheaper than Ducati for exactly the same spec policy........and it was about £30 more than last year.

They won't quote me, 2X 3points, and a claim on my car policy. Obviously 48 years with a full clean licence and zero claims, count for nothing !!!!! They're all a bunch of thieves. Rant over. LOL
Spent half an hour cleaning the accumulated crud off the Pikes Peak chain after an observed ride this morning. It would seem a drawback of the bike, is its propensity to vacuum up all the mud, grit and shit off the road and deposit it in every crevice, nook and cranny in and on the back of the bike. Andy

Was expecting 3-4 studs to be beyond use, but it's the one , bit sticking out looks good, so hopefully, drill , and extract
I'd be drilling it as a last option tbh...weld a nut on is the way to go. There is also a stud extractor tool that grips the threads as you rotate, maybe that's the first option?
