Psa M25 J10-11 Weekend Closure

Thanks for that. I was heading down that section of the M25 on Sunday to pick up a new bike. Will find a different route.

 

Both directions.

Basically, don't go anywhere near M25, especially J11.

 

Depending where you are coming from or heading to, it may be better going via Dartford.
But then, lots of people will be doing that too.

 

Drivers are being told to ignore their SatNavs on old/slow update models. Might plug mine in for a laugh tomorrow

Hmmm. Variable speed restrictions?* EV only lanes? Snipers stationed on gantries taking out anyone driving an evil ICE vehicle?



*I thought they'd abandoned that idea after the Highways Agency found that no matter how much they manipulated the data, they couldn't make it say that variable speed limits had improved air quality.

 

Get the push bike out and go for a naughty ride i say before they reopen it.

 

did a bit of that today! - you can even see it on my Strava map, but unlike last Friday, there were plenty of jackets around - prob doing overtime ready for tomorrow, and so risked a bollocking.

They shut it last weekend at the m11 junction for an hour or two and it caused carnage good luck with a whole day lol.

I will mostly be riding around east Herts and surrounding areas today as it’s one of those rare days that has a big yellow thing in the sky

So that all passed without a hitch... Weybridge was fine, the traffic was down and the footfall in town up. Win win...
