A nice little 8 mile walk around Rosedale yesterday.. Really bright and sunny but a screaming cold wind , my mate Pete and his brother just climbing out of the valley at btm rhs
Strip down commencing...doing some wiring as well... Edit....getting the new one fitted....tried some weight comparisons.....old one just over 4kg....new one wouldnt register on the scales but my feeling is between 1 and 2kg with the anciliaries fitted....
Ok that’s enough, our little excursion into condescension is becoming more like character assassination did I mention my wife is lovely.
I know exactly what you mean, I didn’t mean to be misogynistic it just that I’ve traveled back to the 50’s the 1850’s where it’s the norm. Your lovely Wife is peeping over your shoulder isn’t she? Leave a wink emoji if you’re being held against your own free will and being forced to do some housework.
Went to Brum to visit the National Outdoor Expo. Getting into the grounds to the car parks was a total clusterfork -maybe 40mins to drive 1/2 a mile! The NEC itself looked very worn and jaded too, but perhaps thats just me. Once inside the show it was immediately apparent why the advance tickets were FOC. If you were thinking of going tomorrow, I'd suggest you paint your shed in the rain instead...
I’ve found train or motorcycle(bike show=free parking) is best for the NEC, getting fleeced for the parking puts me off going there TBH.
Took my mate out to go and see my new bike at the dealer, before it gets delivered next week. Off to a Thai restaurant tonight for dinner.
We moved house last Friday, put as little as possible in the garage and the bikes at my dad's house. Two coats of paint on the walls and one on the floor. I'm very happy how it's turned out so far. I'm hoping to give the floor another coat tomorrow but reading some of the reviews reckons 48hrs is best so maybe a job after work Monday. Bloody knackered now.
The first job I did when we last moved was paint the garage floor and walls, SWMBO did not understand at all.
I bought a dust off cover for a vfr800 I was going to do up as a project, anyway it was a shitter so sold it on honestly as well, bloody ebay, anyway I had this honda branded cover that fitted my 916, perfect get the honda wording off, job done, got the heatgun and burn straight through it , off to the bin
