  1. What beach? So I can avoid it!!

  2. Surely that's no way to talk about your wife?

  3. Handed the 848 over and said good bye. Had a sprited ride there though! I will miss it and there is part of me asking if I've made the right decision. Well I'll know a week Sunday when I pick the new diavel up.

  9. Your right and its shite!

  10. Drove the family 350 miles today from Oxford to Holland to start a weeks holiday, so far so good, great apartment, fantastic weather and managed to down a few well deserved cheeky beers outside in the sun this evening.

A side note; Perfect strong 3G signal all across Europe, why does it never seem to work in the UK unless you are in the middle of a big city?

  11. Came home from my business trip to a shit load of post and the cats ignoring me, on the up side I got a huge kiss and a hug from L with a ‘ur on a promise look in her eye’ closely followed by a ‘off for a week’ size glass of wine. It was a boring trip of back to back meetings but at least I got to enjoy the weather eating outside every evening. And, and, I got to travel on BA’s new A380 double deck jumbo, made even better as I got up graded on the way out to a rear facing, hidden behind a privacy screen business class seat. (it was a training flight so the cabin dollies couldn’t do enough to make you happy, I swear she was wearing hold ups, so I guess it worked) No such luck on the return. TFI it’s the weekend and I have next week off and my new Panigale to look forward to the week after.

  12. Well this weekend I have my nieces wedding up north, which will be extravagent to say the least, seeing as she knows how to spend my bros money. If he sees change out of the thick end of £70k I'll be amazed!!

Tomorrow on the way back home we have to collect my granddaughter for the afternoon and night whilst #2 son and wife have some "quality time together".

Monday I'm off on my bike for a day out. Anywhere. I don't care. That's my "quality time" sorted :upyeah:

  13. Anyone know how to deal with sciatica?

    I'm in fookin' agony here:frown:

  14. Diclofenac. Nothing else will touch it.

  15. Proper pissed off; apart from a few hours work this morning I've engineered a whole weekend off for myself, and I'm doubled up in pain. Bloody typical.

  16. Get yourself to the chemists pronto. Diclofenac is the only thing that shifts it. Take a double dose too. And non of this Voltorol gel ointment neither. Doesn't do a thing!

  17. If its anything like mine, then the only relief comes from a spinal nerve block injection. Pain killers, including the strongest the GP could prescribe did nothing. And to make it worse, it took them 9 months to get me an MRI to diagnose just what and where the problem was, and then get the CT scan to get the jab. It's something I have to live with for the rest of my life or until the NHS agree to give me the op needed to fuse my spine and relieve the pressure on the nerve. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

  18. A good massage is needed Fig
    Stilettos are extra ;-)

  20. Just take care with that stuff, I was on it for a month after slipping a disc, double dropped to start and then two days later whilst walking along new bond street I needed the loo, not in a minute, right there and then. I had to persuade one of the shops to let me use their loo; it was like a war zone. Apparently it’s a well-known side effect.
