  3. I've ridden with Rosso 4's before on other bikes, not really had an issue with them. I'll defo let you know though :upyeah:

  5. I'm really looking forward to it. Out of the all the bikes I've had the last couple of years, the one I've gelled with the most with the Multi V4S, I really hope I have the same experience with the Pikes Peak :)

  6. Took out the Multi V4 Pikes Peak today for a country lane blast. Well what can I say, totally loving it!

I'm loving the Rosso 4's so far if i'm honest. But weather wasn't too cold and roads where dry.

  7. It's an awesome bike, isn't it?! The tyres have been made for the bike, and are perfect for its intended use. Ducati didn't expect it to be ridden by daft buggers through the winter, on greasy salty roads! :p:joy:

  12. I've got Rosso 4 Corsa's on mine at the moment after my trackday, went out yesterday, they performed well, front and rear were both at 35psi cold before I left, was quite shocked when I got back and the rear was 40.5 and front 39.6, have now let them down a bit! I assume it's the weight of the bike, never had such a rise on the road with the same tyres on a 1299.

  13. IMO, 35psi cold, is too low and causes the tyre to overheat. This link is for track tyres but the principle is the same, https://lifeatlean.com/motorcycle-tyre-wear-guide/. Andy

  14. I’m probably opening up myself to disbelief and abuse but 1000 miles up and I’ve finally found an every day setting that works for me and the roads I ride on a daily basis. Urban, full power (comfort), single helmet preload and softest suspension setting front and rear. It just works :D Andy

  15. Sounds good, I'll need to try it. When I finally get the bike taxed again. If its anything like the bikes I've had previously with active suspension it will get "softer" as the ambient temperature increases.

  16. For most road use, I doubt many could tell if the bike was in urban mode or not. It’s only once really moving at illegal speeds that the sports and touring modes make a difference.

  17. Been reading this thread with interest, I orderd my PP about three weeks ago. @Android853sp Andy do you think there was any accessory you missed for your build? What about regret adding (with the exception of the power hub). Does anyone els think the fluid reservoirs look a bit..Plastic!

  18. @Roger Coleman, nothing I missed and no regrets. I am not a fan of the Rizoma by Ducati parts :poop::D The Rosso 4s didn't work for me as most of my miles have been on touring tyres. The Roadtec 02 is working really well for me. Andy

  19. The standard reservoirs look cheap and nasty, wobble around too much, and certainly don't belong on a £25k bike, so I binned mine and went with the Rizoma ones.
