exhaust fitting..

  1. Having had this little puppy on and off 35 times I'm coming to the end of my energy. I had to clean it first too which isn't much fun!

So basically I can't work out if its all lining up right? Does it look just about right?
I've a few small 'blows'(snigger), I think these should go after 30 miles or so? Correct?
It looks like the exhaust is designed to run without the heat guard, Should be ok just to space out I guess? It'll get a little hot without i'd think....

I might be a little deaf now too, it sounds the same as the termi at idle, sounds like a WSB with a few revs [IMG]

  2. I Like:smile: Can't answer your question though. Did the headers come with the can, or did you get them made up and where?

  3. It's a full Leo Vince evo system, 57mm, stainless headers, TI can.

  4. are you fitting it or taking it off to sell
    :)

  5. Fitting, I've a termi asymmetric to sell with less than 200 miles on it.

  6. ahhh right.
im keeping mine for the moment and the spending is starting again

  7. If it bolts up easily it's as near as. Check alignment against bodywork once fitted. Bolt it lightly at first just check. 35 times?

  8. you have to be sure you know !!!

maybe its meant for the grey swingarm like mine

  9. Its 100% for a deep sump/sbk swingarm, a shallow sump exhaust wouldn't fit at all

  10. Not 35 times, only twice!

  11. looking at that picture i think ive identified why your clutch doesnt work....

  12. I was meaning - just give up and sell it to me :)

  13. Yep :) and its new replacement is missing a few key bits, big thanks to the Italians for cocking that one up.

  14. ahhhh man thats crap

  15. yep it is as it means I've not been able to use it and had to cancel a trackday. However should be great once fitted and with the setup for the exhaust done.

  16. You could put the asymmetric system back on and do the trackday. That will give you the breathing space to sort the 57mm system.

  17. Its not the exhausts thats stopping me, its the lack of a fully working clutch!

  18. The earlier 999s and 999r had the grey swing arm and the deep sump .If it was off this model it will be a bugger to fit without touching the newer black swing arm .

  19. It's more getting it sat right, it's for the deep sump/black arm, it was a faf getting the pipes sat right etc

its all on now, ill put a pic up later

  20. What's wrong with the clutch? Just plates?
