Do You Supermoto?

  1. I have to confess, after a couple of visits to Supermotoland in Bullas, Spain, I am hooked.

Apart from being great fun, SM is a great way of getting bike fit and learning the noble art of “backing it in”.

I am certainly not there yet, but I do want to do more practice.

In Spain you rock up to any of the many specialist kart/SM tracks, pay your €50 and ride till you can’t.

Does anyone know anything about SM in the UK?

Are there any tracks in the South of the UK?

  2. There is a British Championship series around 6 races or there was.
Pretty good to watch as the tracks are so short but not well attended.

From memory there were practice days held.

  3. I am thinking more like an old airfield or industrial park where like-minded people gather…….

  4. Non that I’m aware of certainly not near me.

I would imagine that either of the places you mention are owned by someone that wouldn’t want to turn a blind eye to anyone riding legal or illegal bikes on their property.

You could potentially lose your bikes should the Feds come take a look see?

  5. A bit far for southerners, but you can ride SM at 3 sisters circuit at Ashton in Makerfield.
Might be worth looking at websites of Kart tracks more local to yourself in case they offer similar.
