That said, Saturday was the only half decent day I've seen this year for riding, not been out on the PP for months and after 20 mins I then told myself I really don't need the RS! However, keep the PP, add a de-cat pipe and flash, Vulturebike RS tail, wheels and some carbon and I'm knocking on RS territory anyway.............. Nicer problems to have!!
Yeah, known Tony for years, never had any issues with them. Looking at the end of the year, could come sooner like September, but not holding my breath.
I had my 600 mile Service a couple of weeks ago on my RS. The Carbon Clutch cover finally came in so we added that as well. The weather is still a bit "confused", I'm on the Gulf of Mexico Coast, this time of year with pop-up thunderstorms so I've only added another 120 miles or so but they were very, very enjoyable miles. Bits of Rizoma have been added but still waiting on the "performance" LED Rear Turn signals so the EvoTech tail tidy ( desperately needed) is still pending. I can not say enough about the Desmo Stradale engine. It obviously makes the RS what it is.The RS really rides like a "Pannigale without the pain" and I'll "sit up and beg" on it anytime. It doesn't cost anymore to go first class. It only costs longer...................
*Bump* All the RS owners seem to have gone quiet! Where are you?! I need more info as to whether I should get the RS or hang fire?! Any updates on mileage? Any truth in the rumor the multi is getting a face lift also?
Not much point getting an RS this year then really. It's so close between the RS and the PP in my mind. You can see by the amount of PP's suddenly for sale that it is largely those people who have 'upgraded'. I want to, but I will do 1 to 2 long trips per year and as someone has already pointed out, filling the bike every 100 miles might be a pain. I am right on the fence between these two bikes. While I have seen nothing but praise for the RS, and I have an order in, I'm still not convinced.
Anyone dropping £32k for an RS, is only ever going to say it’s better than the PP. I’m a serial bike changer. I’ve gone over this a thousand times in my mind, and have justified changing, however, I took my PP out the other day, for the first time in five months, and still absolutely love that bike. With the full system, it has more bhp and torque than the RS, and is a much better all round bike. I just don’t see the point in trading in my bike and adding £12k for a bike that gives me less * * Don’t quote me on that though, as I’m a fickle twat and may well change my mind by this time next year!
This is exactly where I'm at tbh. Placed an order for the RS, took the PP out after months of not riding and then thinking this is all the bike I need. The dealership where I'm at are amazing. The guy there said put the order in and if I don't want it he'll hand my deposit back. I'm thinking I'll change it over and put in an advance order in for the face lifted PP!!
Yep, I’m waiting to see what that’ll be like. I’ve already told my dealer I’ll order one as soon as it’s announced later in the year, as my bike will be 3 years old next year. I could keep it for another 5 years, as it’s all I’ll ever need, but trading it in while still under warranty keeps the cost to change lower.
Same here, took mine out last weekend, it’s all the bike I’ll ever need, be interested to see the 2025 model, but it will have to be something very special..

got this 2 march had a pp v4 just had its 600 mile service both great bikes and i had a panigale v4s 2018 it feels just like that my old pp and my new rs and lots of parts on it now but the tyres on the pp only lasted 2500 miles i did 5300 miles on it
