Hi all, firstly, yep, I’m back!! After being on here for several years back when I used to a) live in Portugal and b) race/own 996’s, I’m now on the lookout to buy a 996 or 748… I’ve got the chance to buy a 748S (late version, 02 plate) for just over 6k….its got nearly 20k miles on the clock and seems pretty good Nick… what are you guys thinking?? Good deal?? Those who know me from old will know that I know 996’s back to front and have rebuilt one from the ground up after destroying it around Jerez in the early 2000s….but don’t know much about 748’s and am looking to add that shape bike to my ‘modern classics’ collection of bikes!!! cheers all!
its expensive for the mileage.. its either the really early ones or the really late Rs that are hot in 748 world
Thanks mate - that’s really interesting that you suggest it’s on the pricey side….ideally I’d like a clean, as close to OEM 996 as possible, but they seem to be slim pickings for around the same money….
