Took Son to Motocross experience day, cancelled due to track being too wet. This is the fourth time MX has been cancelled getting a little frustrating to say the least.
Got the bike MOT’d early this morning (pass with no advisories) Then home to spend the day building raised beds. Unseasonably warm in the South East but a bit blowy.
First ride on the SL since moving here. I tried to leave as politely as possible . I think I noticed the neighbours curtain twitch . I didn't give her enough revs and stalled right outside their drive. A quick stab on the starter and a large hand full of revs and I shot out the end of the road in a cachofany of noise and clutch slip quicker than I was planning. The return was much more sophisticated, turned the bike off and glided silently down the road and onto the drive. Only out for thirty minutes, but I now feel very much alive !
Went to Aldi and it's middle aisle first thing to get some more stuff for the garden. I'm now waiting on a delivery over the next couple of days from Amazon then it's all done.........or at least I'm buying bugger all else!
Went to pick my bike up (Friday) after a service and saw this in the showroom. Amazing engineering but €60,000 list price https://newatlas.com/the-vyrus-987-...b-centre-steered Vyrus,EUR 65,000 (US$91,700).
Moved the bird feeders around to try & confound the squirrels. Regripped a few more golf clubs in an attempt to find the right sized grip to work with the modified left hand.
Well I fell at the first hurdle.........Doris just convinced me to spend another £300 (just under) on more stuff to make the garden "nice". I wouldn't care but I plan to spend more time on the bike when the weather picks up
