Never been a fan of this track although i do like races that start at 8 o'clock on a Sunday night. Gives you something to look forward to. Is 93 going to win his first race i wonder? Will a Honda win again? Hopefully Jake back in moto 2.
From your link, sounds like he’s not expecting much, looks like the injury was more serious than declared. Biggest problem for Jake now is to justify the faith the team has had in him and he really has to deliver consistent top 5 finishes. He’s been overtaken and left behind by younger talent coming through the ranks. Andy
I think/hope the fact he managed 7th fastest a week or so later and still stepped away to recuperate further is a strong indication he'll be at the sharp end most weekends once fit. Who knows how quickly damaged lungs heal though, sounded pretty serious if he wasnt allowed to fly.
I had trauma to my lungs last year after a crash. It took over 6 months before I stopped getting puy of breath really easy. 3 laps on a trackday and I was proper blowing. But I am a lot older and fatter than jake

these things are quite cool though in a quirky kinda way, at least they are different! I can’t believe though that they only lap 5s a lap off superbike times. And they were doing 190mph at Daytona, crazy

I saw someone say Dixon was “bsb level” today lol. Maybe when he was younger but absolutely no way now. Went top in the first session with a minute to go but had his lap chalked off. Ended up 6th with plenty in the bag.
Moto 2 has the potential to be better than Moto 3 this season and there’s not been many times you can say that.
So Hodgy said what needed to be said last night in that Moto gp is the best/most exciting to watch that it’s ever been, the stats back it up and anyone pining for days of yore are remembering those years with rose tinted spectacles because by and large the racing was boring as fuck, most of the bikes on the grid were uncompetitive/getting lapped and in some cases the grids were half empty. Chapeaux my good man. Finally.
