that’s fairly dramatic I’d say…. For a start Remi has had a full season on the bike, at all these circuits. He also didn’t exactly clear off and win, he got 1 podium and at some points in the races he was battling behind Rea so while the results look like a ‘walloping’ it’s not the reality. I’m not a JR fan particularly but I do find the Brit tendency to absolutely rip our own to pieces as soon as they aren’t winning a bit of a cliche… finally, Remi doesn’t have 6+ world titles does he… they don’t give them away and one swallow doesn’t make a summer! I doubt it’s even occurred to Rea that Remi beat him, he will be far far more focussed on how Toprak literally breezed past him on every straight and how he’s going to get to a point where he can fight Bautista. you could have picked a more valid (IMO) opinion of how Bautista was taking the absolute p*ss out of the entire field in the superpole race
I havent seen the superpole race yet Phil but was more a point of how well Remy was doing tbh, i dont really care either way about Rea these days, just cant stand the way toseland constantly bums him for want of a better phrase. But then Toseland could probably do with a whole thread to his own!
Yeah, I agree the Toseland thing is one to discuss in its own thread! There was quite a self promotion thing going on when he interviewed corser and rolled out some stats about two people in history to win championships on different brands blah blah
