watching this trickle of condensation make its was to the edge of the table and am wondering if it will make it there before the heat of the suns rays on the black glass will evaporate it before it gets there?
Paint the rest of the garage, put some blinds up in the garage and then over to my mothers to collect some Mechanno that has been languishing in her flat since my Father passed away. I’ll try and donate it to landfill when I have time.
Half hour ride to see a mate this morning on the Hyper. First ride it's had this year that it came back dry & clean! Then bought beer and drank it in the sun. Sundays, eh....
After all my efforts yesterday the yellow Superlight wouldn't start, so reset today with swapping over the battery and Bob's your uncle and fanny all out in the sunshine today teasing me & you. Watchout folks if your heading southbound into Nutley just before the classic car showroom as that mobile police speed unit's there again, nevermind the dangerous road surface conditions that've not been addressed before the lockdown period.
All plans have changed, I’m off to Spain, mainly because I have to be back here for my best mates Wake mid June. So today was spent doing various things that need to be done before dropping everything and pissing off on Tuesday. I did manage to stop and watch the MotoGP and very good it was too. Then later on I went out for a ride on the Multi, didn’t get out until 4pm. I was cruising down this country road and there was a brown flash almost under the front wheel. Instinctively I hit the brakes, it was just a reaction without thinking and just as well I did. It totally disappeared under the front wheel and the brown flash appeared again to my right. That’s when I saw it was a deer. To say it came out of nowhere would be an understatement, it was so close it was unbelievable. I looked in the mirror and sure enough there was another one. Neither were that big but the second was smaller. All the same, if I’d hit it, I would have been off without any shadow of a doubt. You can’t prepare for that, you can’t anticipate that. It was so sudden. I didn’t mention it to the Mrs but Lady Luck smiled on me today.
if you have a vintage complete set in good nick then I beg to differ N. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/143...ng_id=1433183735&listing_slug=antique-meccano
as a relative youngster, a certain Mr Herring promised me a Meccano steam engine that was languishing in his attic. Did this ever materialise? I was later to learn that this was a typical "gain kudos without completion" strategy come to be used by many @&#%ers over my lifetime.
Went to Tynemouth for lunch then to Blyth beach for a massive icecream which we ate in the car because it was fecking freezing
Yes you lucky boy reading yours above, i'd notice that there was a sign that said; 136 deer related collisions on the A22 Ashdown Forest from Wych Cross to Nutley yesterday, why can't they use their damn green cross code.
Technically Yesterday (Sund). Took my two boys to the local bike cafe (Super sausage) and saw some of the Ducati F riders there...
Just got my renewal notice from the RAC for my car insurance........its £190 cheaper than last year! Result
