  3. Has anyone ever ridden a 400? I can't imagine they have any poke at all? Tbh, even a 600... I kinda accepted that the 900 is a minimum for the supersport... underpowered when new, but just right for the twisty roads. :thinkingface:

  9. I don’t know about the smaller carb engines but I have a 620 ie monster and it is great fun on real roads without risking life and licence every time you open it up. Decent torque off the bottom and a nice, slightly more revvy nature that keeps you on it. I briefly had a 750 ie SS and that was similar engine-characteristic wise. Different to the 900 but still enjoyable.

  10. horses for courses and all that - loved my 400SS and preferred it to a 600. I've written about it at least twice on here.
    We won't need any "poke" soon for a 15mph maximum speed ride out.:upyeah:
