  1. A few weeks ago loaded up for a trip to the Festival of Speed. E1FC6D05-C31A-4512-9145-27F7C5AAF4A1.jpeg

All went well until the trip home. Fuel pipe popped off in the fast lane of a duel carriageway 240 miles from home. Luckily between us we had a few tools and managed to fudge it back on until we got home. Ordered a new one, £80, what a nightmare to fit. All done now though and back up and running.

  2. This weekend I participated with my Monster 1100 RS at the Oslo Motor Show 2023.
This is Norway's largest vehicle exhibition with approx. 50,000 visitors during this weekend.
My Ducati Monster was voted Best Street Bike
I also received a lot of positive feedback on my, in my eyes, beautiful Ducati
    Here are some pictures

  3. M1100s with its s4r rearsets, currently it has its headlight surround and top yoke and risers off. They've been aquablast polished today and look quite good (a bit OEM+) but the original idea was to blast them and get them powdercoated satin black.

  4. My M1200R -16, currently mounting Ducabikes clear clutch cover (with the red ring, black/white pressure plate & spring), evotech levers, evotech can holder. And trying to figure out how to get/build titanium headers without buying the Zard full system :) ---> more pictures in the spring, now winter hibernation

  5. I’d get them done satin black to match the bottom yoke. But that’s only what I’d do. I’m planning on getting my fork legs ceracoated satin black in the new year.
    Lovely bike non the less.

  6. Swapped the bodywork over to this satin silver set of OE stuff i won on ebay. Looks a bit different. 20231116_150504.jpg

  12. This is our 2002 620 with 996 race plastics . We've entered the Desmodue this year and got some alright results at Cadwell last month. It turned out ours was lowered so we put a new adjuster on . This shot is before that and you can see how close the fairing is to the ground . Apart from that , clipons , rearsets , cans and a couple of turns on the shocky spring. Great racing .

  17. Came across a complete set of new VR46 fairings, in Italy. Got it installed today.
I chose to go for a carbon cover over the instruments.
I thought it was a bit of a shame to cover all the nice parts with the small fairing.
Was very pleased with the result.

  18. Thanks for the nice feedback mike willis.

I am so pleased with it. Absolutely fantastic to drive and goes down smoothly towards 2-2500 rpm.
Not many older air-cooled Ducatis do that. It has been mapped by people in Ducati's MotoGP team,
and they have done a fantastic job with it. Runs with Sprint air filter.

I look forward to every ride with it.

This after I spent some time cleaning it up as it was very grubby. The rear wheel is still caked with old grease/chain lube to am off down the town to get some degreaser/engine cleaner and yes that is seem is really the mileage it's a US model so thee are some things that need looking into like the carbon canister and permanant lights on.
