  3. Three big rounds coming up
    Mugello (pecco)
    Assen (everyone loves assen!)
    Sachsenring (93)

  4. Be slightly ironic if he becomes the first rider (since Alzamora?) to win a WC without winning a race lol
I still don’t think he beats pecco and Martin in normal race conditions if all three stay on their bikes to the end of a race weekend.
Sachsenring will be the real test of that theory!

  5. Lots of 93 shirts - and a chear when he moved into 3rd place.

Very hot so I settled for a place in the shade to watch from. Not great for taking pictures, but videos taken with the phone are better.
Queue for the water taps and my viewing place in the shade

  6. Last time I went to watch at catalonia you couldn't buy a beer. Is it still the same

  7. Definitely an alcohol free zone for WSBK. Andy

  8. I rode there on my bike, so not looking to buy a beer. But alcohol is on the "not allowed" items listed on the ticket.

    The mighty KTM..

  10. What's the thinking behind that?!

You'd lose half your weekends income if you did that in the uk lol.

  11. I'd say the circuit has been 'dry' for about 10 years. No idea why they chose to go that way but the zero alcohol beer they sell at the circuit is the same price as beer so no big loss. Andy

  12. Sounds like a right barrel of laughs, do they check for contraband on your way in? Flasks, bottles, etc...
I dont remember there being a booze ban in Valencia but i was riding so wasnt drinking and didnt take much notice tbh.

  13. The year we found out, definitely yes. Had to drink the cans we had or chuck them  IIRC, for the WSBK this year, bags were limited in size and all were checked, although for some, the search was cursory. Last year, Racesafe marshals were on high alert for environmental protesters at all of the BSB rounds and I see no reason for it to be any different at the tracks in Europe. Andy

  14. Same at Portimao. No booze during MotoGP events.

  15. Wow quite a recommendation as I am sure you must have had quite a few bikes. I can belive it, must get one :D

Quick personal question - you do not have to answer- are you really Shakey' s dad :astonished: ?

If so I have a picture of me standing next to him complete with big grin !

  16. Pecco's victory at Catalunya is ducati's 92nd MotoGP win.
Casey Stoner took the 27th Ducati win with racing No.#27
Bagnaia took 63rd win with No.#63
Marco Bezzechi took 72nd win with No#72
Jorge Martin took the 89th win with No#89…........
    ....................#93?
