So today I came home from where we were staying in Gatehouse of Fleet………set off at 8am and was home by 10.30am I kept to A and B roads and I wasn’t hanging about……downside is I may have got flashed around Hexham way By midday all my bike kit etc had been washed and hung out, and the bike had been cleaned and out away Also found these two stickers on the bike……….put on by a couple of scallywags …… @West Cork Paul knows who they are as he got ‘stickered’ on our Irish trip in April Even the girls, who were on the trip, had their bikes ‘stickered’ up That apart it was an excellent weekend again, organised by Ducati Manchester
Afternoon bimble through the Derby Dales, Straithes, Holm Moss, Holmfirth and back home. Cracking day for it…
Office work first thing, then squash then out on the bike I’m enjoying this work/recreational balance.
Cut the hedge, checked the bee hives, took off a super of honey and span it. Needs to settle and filter again before I put it in the jars. One of the little buggers waited until I’d taken my suit off and then stung me under my arm. Luckily I don’t seem to react as much as I used to so not too bad considering I’d just stolen all her honey.
Out to our local theatre to see Miles Jupp; took a bit of a punt as we’d not seen too much of him before but glad we did, he was excellent and we will be looking for his next tour.
If it’s the one focusing on his brain tumour then yes, “On I Bang” was the title iirc (Mrs GG having hidden the tickets)
