  9. I like the 999 look of the mirrors, I have just stuck mine back to road trim (Took me 18 months!!) Anyway I dont run with indicators, I prefer sticking my arm out.

    I decided to blank out the indicator bit on the mirrors with a bit of car body filler and was going to paint the mirrors satin black till I found a roll of 3d carbon wrap and this is the results.

  11. i think some owners are beginning to believe the hype about how they're becoming desirable again.. Think 8.5k is stretching it a bit, even with the kitchen sink included....

  14. I'm planning a new bike relatively soon, and the 999 is one possibility. I've seen this one on ebay, but there's something about the bike/ad that makes me slightly wary (no offence intended should the advertiser see this) and I'm wondering if those in the know feel the same? The price seems low, the seat/tail unit looks different and are the LH/RH fairing graphics standard? Plus 'selling for a mate' . . . .

  15. That looks like a desmo style tail, but yeah the phrase selling for a mate seems like a safety net to avoid any difficult questions

  18. Not quite. If you have them they have to work. You also have to have them in pairs, ie front and back. If you don't have any, that's fine

  20. It's been apart at some stage to paint the frame black. Originally silver. Its a biposta with DP single seat.
