  1. Hi all, I need to complete a CITB test ( operative ) but I’m a bit confused by conflicting online information, I’d prefer to do the test online if possible , but when I go onto the official CITB site, it seems to only point to actual test centres !?
Anyone had experience in doing an online test, also what revision resources to use ?

  2. You can only do the test at a test centre. Make sure you book through the official website. After you have booked you will be prompted to pay for revision. You can find it all for free online (I found mine on you tube) .

  3. You go to an actual test center so you can't cheat. Is this for HS2-clown show may I ask?

  4. Construction Industry Training Board?

For surface mobile plant, such as bulldozers and loading shovels?

I did my 'test' many years ago, it involved sitting in a pub, getting shitfaced, watching safety videos, of bulldozers rolling down open cast mine faces, telling us to stay in the cab, do not try to get out until it stopped

  5. It’s needed for a new job role I’m due to start , forklift driving for wincanton ( hinkley contract)

  6. Just double make sure that you book it through the official website. Should be no more than £25. There are loads of very professional looking unofficial sites that will charge much more!

  7. Revise & don't stress, its multi-choice & usually fairly obvious.

Material: CITB Construction health and safety awareness (book - 246pages)

  11. I did yes 50/50 , but I only stayed in the job for two weeks , couldn’t stand the boredom of the role

  12. Hahah; I did two contracts on HS2. The money was nice but the job was horrible & the destruction to our country & nature won't be undone for decades too come. The balance of travel, role & responsibility all have to be balanced in ones internal scale of justice.
