Exactly what I keep telling The Dragon, this is why I have a Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, another Ducati, and two Kawasaki
I’ve given up trying to explain the N+1 formula to the Ball and Chain, her eyes glaze over bless her.
Tried to figure out how to mount my phone to the Monster, but the steering damper is right in the way of anywhere decent to put it. Will have a rethink later.
Fitted Evotech paddock stand bobbins to the Monster, as the ones that came with the DP stand were chrome for some strange reason. Wiped the dust off it, then put it back under its cover. Wife said I should buy a feather duster for it, the cheeky mare.
Cylinder from Japan arrived today at last for the Nsr and I also now have a repaired one as a spare that I collected today.
Went into the garage, looked at my bikes( well 1.5 + another in several bits) and smiled, then reflected on the vast amount of parts that have passed through my hands over the past 4ish years, then thought about getting a 900ss. maybe next year…..
I am doing so. The bike came with the fetching bronze covers and the originals which were scabby. A spot of matt black and satin lacquer and good as new. They will go back on when I bleed the brakes and clutch.
Finally put the bastard Nsr back together (again) and it’s a runner, done its first heat cycle and all was fine. It’s for sale if anyone’s interested because I’ll never ride it again. I worked out it’s cost me around £200 for every 10 miles I’ve done on it.
