  10. Terrible performance. Again. Draw by sheer luck.

  11. Dummies in the local clothes shop window have more movement than the England team. Normally would not watch but staying with the outlaws.
On the plus side, Assen soon. Some real men that dont stay down unless they are actually hurt.

  12. Are you sure?

  13. 4 points from two games is okay. Definitely looked a bit flat, soft mistakes midfield. Denmark are no mugs, remember.

But yeah, if they advance from the group stages then they will have to crank it up a notch. Germany, France or Spain will give us a right twatting given current performances.

  14. Don’t watch. Ride your bike. On deserted roads. National football tournaments are great!

  15. Lots of reasons why *we're shit and none seem to have been covered by SSN yet apart from explaining our traditionally dire performances down to Ingurlund "traditionally starting big tournaments poorly" and "youd be worried if we didnt" lol (who on earth pays these arse clowns a wage, or writes their scripts?)

    And as much as i love Kloppo and agree with most of what he says about burn out, it cant all be down to fatigue with this lot as at least three of the starting 11 barely played more than 38 games due to their teams quite frankly being shit, or at least having shit seasons;

    Pickford
    Trippier
    Guehi

Trent and Walker have also both been injured for large parts of the last 12 months so thats half the starting 11 not qualified to be considered as being burnt out.

Foden Bellingham and Kane played daft(ish) amount of games, but were largely managed well.
Foden and Bellingham are also barely out of school and can run to the end of a rainbow if required, Kane has always been a complete cart horse movement wise.

Saka and Rice are the only two flogged til they can barely walk, due to a lack of depth in Arsenals squad.

This version of the ingurlund team is just badly balanced (a complete lack of left footed quality) with a dreary, uninspiring manager who has no gonads and would rather draw than lose.

Theylll knock a few past Slovenia on Tuesday, all will be right in the world again and then brace yourself for groundhog day part 45,672 in the knockout stages.

    And repeat ad infinitum.

Looking forward to France Holland later though :upyeah:

  16. For some reason England always seem to suffer from a lack of left footed talent, though I'm not sure why that is. Maybe we should cease the superstitious practice of drowning all those children who show signs of sinistral preference, but I come from a family in which left-hookers (grandad, two brothers and one of my sons) and ambis (two maternal aunts and me) are over-represented, so maybe I'm biased.

The team looks tired, but with a few exceptions they're only youngsters and almost all top international footballers play for the same 20 teams, in the same leagues, so there's no reason why England players should be particularly affected by burn out. Hence, it might be more of a mental/motivation issue as a result of a negative management mindset as the tactic of sitting back deep and defending a one goal lead stifles their talents and so is hardly likely to inspire initiative, passion and enthusiasm.

  19. I suspect Walker has some form of groin strain from all his recent communal horizontal jogging, and possibly a head injury as a result of the subsequent Egyptian flu pandemic he caused….

  20. Tough call that disallowed goal for the Dutch but I think they got it right tbf, the keeper would never have stopped it but you have to at least give him that chance and the Dutch lad on the line stoped him doing that.

Shame really cos you have to take the opportunity to kick the big teams when they’re down which France most definitely are without Mbappe.
