I actually went to Bristol a couple of weeks ago. No trouble parking. I contracted there over 30 years ago and was told lots of it was no go areas. Sr Paul's rings a bell. But both me an the wife really enjoyed it
It can be quite entertaining, I treat it as studying monkeys at the zoo. I have recently noticed that once the parent has collected the youngling and it’s all strapped in and safe, the same parent will then drive like an utter c@nt in 30mph zone past all the other kids and parents. Mornings are the worst as there’s pressure to eject the kid then take off to work/yoga class.
Cleveland Village is where I couldn’t easily find a parking space. St Paul’s is where the race riots occured in the early 80’s isn’t it?
We went for a walk round the harbour, the went over the clifton bridge and had no trouble. We were probably lucky
Yup. There used to be a really good annual Italian bike and car day in Bristol, I'm sure it was near there.
Clifton Village - no free parking anywhere - and it's mostly 9am to 9pm at high cost if you do! Fortunately I know where the cheaper places are if I'm daft enough to take the car.... ...and yes, early 80s was St Pauls riots.
So if you live there it’s carnage and the wankers speed past As well as blocking your space… but if your the one parking and some self important prick complains then feck him! Got it
Not quite. If I’m the one parking and it’s considerate and legal (which from what I’ve gathered the OPs daughter did) then there can’t be any reason for complaints. If it’s people speeding, blocking drives and parking inconsiderately I’d say that IS cause for complaint.
Not sure if that's aimed at me , but it is carnage but legal. I mentioned it but don't moan about it.
