Yesterday mostly. Packed for 3 weeks in Europe. Italy mainly and a few days in Holland. We aim to visit Bologna On that score, a question, the Ducati website notes that for the factory tour you need to have an EU valid Covid vaccination certificate. Does anyone on here who has done this recently know if that is still a requirement? The pieces of paper we have would only cause either head scratching or much laughter, or both
They have possibly not updated the website since C-19 and it no longer applies. Seem to recall possibly incorrectly @michel couque has visited recently
Hi. as suggested the website has not been updated so no vaccination certificate required. Also the online ticket purchasing suggests you cannot only buy 1 ticket. You can further along the purchasing process. At this point say you are a Ducati owner for discounts. Again no proof needed but proof needed if you buy at the factory gate. Great visit, I did the museum visit beforehand. Word of warning, it was a very hot day when I went, there are vending machines in the shop BUT they only take cash NO cards, I nearly died of thirst. The visit is one of my life memories, I loved it and everything about the Ducati story and how it all fits in the locality. To top it all I met Claudio Dominicale too! as you can tell I look like a gormless idiot and the only words I could find for a while were FFS,
@DucatiScud and @michel couque Thank you both, I suspected that to be the case, but just wanted to be sure.
Also from central Bologna it is a 20minute taxi ride and max 20 euro, much easier than public transport as quite a few train changes etc from Central Bologna and if it’s hot the taxi is cool.
Popped into Caffeine and Machines near Loomies. Nice coffee, banging spicy chicken wings but a bit pricey. Clean, spacious and comfortable but a bit up market for your average biker Andy
Was having a lovely quiet day on the couch, dogs walked twice, bbq prepped for later then the gypsys knocked and talked me into letting them clear the shit from my garden that had built up from various jobs over the last 12 months or so. Jesus, they are seriously *persuasive. Didnt expect to be £400 down when i woke up today but here we are and the garden looks a whole lot better tbf.
Thanks for the tip with three of us the taxi at €20 is probably close to a break even with the bus an then there's the convenience
Taxis not very easy to hail in the street. Taxi rank at the train station very easy and I found it tricky to book a taxi online if they are busy.
Cracking couple of days; went to see some friends for the day in Somerset yesterday. Got home in the early hours, then up at sparrows fart to go to Goodwood for the members meet, then back home for a proper burger and a few g&t’s while lying in the garden, catching up on some sleep.
