  1. Probably correct, along with the std clutch cover instead of carbon.

  2. Was it just the Mk1 that had the Marvic wheels ?

  3. ^ yes (fwiw, 888 in my experience not as comfy as SS/SL)

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  4. We must be different shapes / sizes - the SS fits me ok but the 888 could have been made for me.

  5. We may have been overpaying for our Ducati fix. Looks legit… well, apart from not being able to spell shopping…I’m going to go for the 3 for 2 offer, stick with full size. Free shipping from USA too. I only want two more, so if anyone wants the third one at cost, just ask:joy:

  6. Yes, can't tell you how gutted I was, lusted after one then couldn't get on with the seat foot peg relationship, ashamed to admit almost wept as I handed over the keys.

  7. Blowing up the photographs the engine cases comfirm the real mileage or perhaps poor storage or living by the sea air could change one's complexion.

  8. The image of the clocks shows @8K miles, although they could be a replacement.

Perhaps the 56K in the text refers to the Red bike in some of the images?

Agreed, Sloppy ad from a dealer.

  9. One and the same bike. That paint scheme is someone’s idea of representing the Italian flag :joy: Andy

  10. There's nothing wrong with that 883cc bike, but the 1200cc would be a little better.

  11. Not flown since 2015 and now only maintained to allow it to taxi on the runway. Andy

  12. I believe XH558 was the last Vulcan to fly, but you’re right it’s only allowed to taxi on the runway now.

I think it’s sad that in this day and age we “don’t have the expertise” to keep any of those airworthy. Guess they mean they won’t spend the money…

I saw one years ago at Greenham Common - magnificent.

  13. I remember seeing one fly over my primary school around 1982, pretty sure around time of the Falklands conflict.
