  3. Excellent news.

  4. I must have bought about 8-10 sets of tyres from them over the years, including the tyres currently on the bike.

A new bike on the way next week, so they may need the OE tyres changing ! so another order likely on the way !

    Welcome :upyeah:

  6. Thanks for the welcome, everyone!

And a big thanks to you for buying from us. We appreciate every sale. We started in lockdown, July 2020 (remember those days?!) and we're approaching our 4th year. However, Chris used to run FWR for 20 or so years before that. His product knowledge is immense / tedious, depending on how long you have been sat next to him.

While there are some big players dealing in motorcycle tyres (SportsbikeShop, Demon Tweeks in the UK. Some in Europe but trying to pass off that they're in the UK like Moto Tyres and Oponeo, etc) we think our USP is our product knowledge and customer service. We're not just punting out a product. We fit tyres day-in day-out and talk to our customers about what they're running, how they're using it. That always helps us stay relevant.

I am a big fan of forums. Years ago I started one called Visordown and I still think forums are better for knowledge sharing than Facebook etc. Of course, I want to promote our goods and services to you but I also hope we'll be able to chip in our product knowledge on anything tyre related. So if you see a post you think we can help with, feel free to tag me.

On a personal level, I have a few Ducatis. I raced in the 848 Challenge and still have that track bike, I also have a 999S, a Panigale V4 track bike and a Monster 1200R.

I look forward to getting stuck in.

  7. I’ve never bought tyres online. Always a little apprehensive of taking tyres to my local KwikFit and entrusting my nice wheels to their machinery.
Having said that, I’m in the market for a pair for the 998 and would appreciate any reassuring comments.

  8. Yeah, I'm not sure I'd trust Kwik Fit either! Motorcycle tyre fitting is definitely an art and most car places won't have the right adapters for bike wheels. Plus a proper bike place will use nylon adapters on their tyre changing machine, to ensure the wheels don't get scratched.

We send tyres to dealers / independents all around the UK, every day. A lot of smaller bike shops don't want the hassle of holding stock and would prefer to make their money on the fitting of the tyres (and having you as a customer for future work). However, some might turn their nose up at a pair of tyres arriving and you tipping up a few days later to have them fitted!

  10. Hi Jack, yes we will. I just have to figure out how best to do it as I don't massively want a code flying around that anyone can Google and use without really being a part of this forum.

  11. Some of the forum traders prefer to offer discounts to forum subscribers, not just everyone and whilst it is (your) resource intensive, at least one forum trader provides a one off code via the forum private message function. Welcome and thank you for your support. Andy

  12. How about buy one get one free ? ( I am so funny ! :D:D:D )

How about some kind of code that you get when you buy a set - using the power of AI you get a code for your next purchase that expires in 11 months and 29 days time and can only be used once.

Good tyres, fair price, good service - happy with that really.

Smell that fresh tyre rubber :upyeah:.....one I purchased earlier ....

  13. I started buying from two tyres years ago, after my most local motorcycle dealership told me to wait three months for a tyre change. Of course once I bought my tyres they told me to sod off cos I didn’t wait the 3 months and buy their overpriced tyres, so I had to learn to change tyres myself, but I don’t ever regret gaining another skill. But, I’ve had great service from TT and when something wasn’t quite right they made good with haste.

Oh and I am never going to buy a KTM because of that dealer :D

  14. Just about to place an order for a new set of tyres on my 999, thanks for the info, great website :upyeah:

  15. Two Tyres are an impressive outfit. Before this post, I ordered a new rear tyre for my V4 PP from them earlier this week; it arrived within 36 hours. It cost £190. Beats paying a local garage in North North East Cambs the £350 they wanted to charge me for the new tyre and fitting...

  16. Interesting, I’ve got 3 bikes with upcoming tyre changes so I’ll see what the discount code is.

  17. @TTBen Hi, do you do slicks? Dunlop KR108 & 106’s specifically. Thanks :upyeah:

  18. Hi all, I hope to get a Subscriber discount code set up with @El Toro this week.

We are competitive on price. Not always the cheapest but I did spent 12 minutes on the phone on Saturday with a chap who wanted me to measure the height of the tread blocks on two different Adventure tyres.. And I don't think you'd get that sort of service from MyTyres! :bucktooth:

We do indeed sell Dunlop KRs. Dunlop's stocks are up and down at the moment on a weekly basis but this is what we have right now: Dunlop KR106 + KR108 Racing Slicks - TT-winning motorcycle racing tyres (twotyres.co.uk)
