  4. Who cares ?
67% of the passes are backwards ( in every sense ) no movement, lazy players

1-0 to the better team . Can we declare ?

  5. England must be the easiest team to win money from the bookies but at least *we know it wasn’t Trent who was the problem now.

  11. I’m with Hemingway who said, “There are only 3 sports - bullfighting, motor racing and mountaineering - all the rest are merely games.”

  15. The Georgia/Spain match is an absolute cracker. End to end stuff. 1-1 at half time now, but I reckon there’ll be more goals

  16. He was 90secs away from losing his job and now he’ll probably say this shows his strategy has been right all along :confounded:
He’s got himself a 90min reprieve, still can’t see it getting any better?

  17. Watched England, it was shit. Just watched Spain v Georgia cracking game. Should we end up playing a team like Spain England will get torn apart.

  18. Thank God Spain are on the other track to the final. o_O

  19. Tbh, I think England needed that. They’ve been overthinking things for whole tournament but after going behind they had to start taking risks and playing naturally. It kind of reminded me of when a boxer is hesitant and won’t “let their hands go”. Plus, when Trippier went off, they played with more width down the left, which created space and opportunities, whereas beforehand it was like they’d been playing futsal, all cramped up and congested in the top right hand quadrant of the pitch.

  20. Did we watch the same game? I didn’t see anything different from the first three games? Made no changes at half time and his first substitute was forced on him when Trippier went lame.
