Newbie With An 1198 Faired Streetfighter Fireblade

  1. This is where the attention to detail will pay off in using original bolts with a fresh coating.

    Anyone can throw £100 at a load of stainless bolts but where’s the fun in that?
    However I do like to add a little detail if I use them.
    Check this out, standard Triumph one, versus standard SS cap head versus modified on the lathe.
    I’ll probably use these on the fork spindle pinch bolts.

  4. Yes. Older Ducati’s have yellow passivated bolts.

  5. Guys, I managed to purchase a use 848/1098/1198 headlight from eBay. Does it require a specific control module to run or is it just a case of requiring the plugs to fit the new unit as the Fireblade headlight is 2xH4 and 2x5w sidelights (I think?)
