I drive a Range Rover, the school run is way behind me and I news a bint. flashing rear lights for me, bright tops and helmet as well
I as motorcyclists we appreciated (or should) the benefits of being seen and taking responsibility for our own safety. Expecting everyone else to look out for us is a one way ticket to A&E or worse.
Furthest this year , 70 miles. Frustrating as my legs and CV are good, but I’m plagued by upper back and neck issues Still, very grateful to be able to get out. No scenery pics, just this lovely old bike and a bin.
Mark Cavendish What a fairytale ending for the Manx Missile! https://www.itv.com/news/granada/20...reaks-tour-de-france-record-with-historic-win
Bike taking a nap? Nice colour but I’m a dinosaur and still prefer the look of calipers over discs on a drop bar bike.
Got out today for a lovely 55 miler. Anyone remember Sir Douglas from Maggie’s cabinet? He used to live in this village and this is/was his lady wife.
Had a low speed off, having just set off stood on the pedals. Helmet and jersey wrecked, apart from the chain I’m hoping superficial damage to the bike. But I’m worried about the forks
Doesn’t sound nasty but unfortunate, hopefully not too bad as you’ve wrecked your helmet and it will be a speedy recovery. Why the forks though on a low speed incident, did they take the brunt of the force?
Has anyone seen or can recommend a Garmin to Quadlock adapter? That’s so a Quadlock case can be used on a Garmin bracket
To be honest I’m more worried about the carbon forks. Not sure how they got damaged I was only doing 5 mph and it was me that hit the floor, handlebar tape is unscathed.
