Hi all. Just wanted to flag this up to forum members. Bought this gorgeous bike from a fellow member nearly three years ago but new acquisitions (V4RS) mean it’s time to move this one on. Stunning Ducati Sport Classic in beautiful condition. £18,500. 2007, 6300 miles and three previous owners before I acquired it three years ago. The bike has been carefully and extensively modified and improved over standard but comes with all original equipment to return to stock if desired. Service history (including regular, documented belt changes) and just had another full belt and fluids service by renowned Ducati specialist, Glen Harrison at Moto-V (who loves and will testify for the bike). MOT till June but happy to put another year on it. Modifications include classic lightweight Kineo wire spoked wheels. Suspension is Ohlins twin rear shocks, Showa fully adjustable Monster forks revalved by and using K Tech parts and the steering damper has been upgraded to an Ohlins unit. The open clutch is a Ducati Performance dry slipper clutch conversion complete with an Oberon slave which converts from a wet to a dry set with that distinct Ducati noise. Engine cases are exclusive lightweight NCR magnesium cases and the fuel cap is also an NCR quick release item. Induction comes from a WASP power up kit that removes the airbox and replaces with velocity stacks, K&N filters, Dynojet Power Commander 3 and a custom map fine-tuned on the dyno to deliver a perfect and smooth drive. Exhaust is a twin stainless Conti replica full system handmade by Keihan Systems with matching exhaust carriers. Timing belt covers have been replaced with carbon items and there are various titanium fasteners to help weight loss. The front brakes have been upgraded to black Brembo four pot callipers on standard disks. Both the brakes and the clutch benefit from red aftermarket Hell lines with stainless end fittings. Other additions include black Sato rearsets, Rizoma bar end mirrors and a Palatov tail tidy. Included along with boxes and boxes of all the standard parts (and some further new parts) is the original Ducati bike cover, a CTEK battery trickle charger and a Ducati Performance rear paddock stand. This is a super rare and exquisite bike (the factory confirmed only 938 red ones were produced) that pulls and drives faultlessly and sounds and goes as well as it looks. Always a showstopper and the finest on sale anywhere!
Oh I loved my time with this bike, I think there was about 8 to 10 k of upgrades on it , stunning to look at and ride. I still wish it was in my garage if only to look at as art. If you don't like attention this isn't the bike for you, it draws admirers everywhere you go, if youv never experienced the 1000ds engine you havnt lived. Good luck with sale, probably one of the best around.
wow you could eat your dinner off that bike. It's funny in Canada these bikes were around $10,000 new they are fetching around $25,000 crazy. I use to have a 2006 regret selling it.
for anyone interested its on ebay now along with a walkaround/start up vid that was too large a file to upload here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/27640999...uid=8SNokuzbQn2&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY cheers
Not your average run of the mill tyre kicker arriving for a viewing And now sold so we can close this thread thanks mods
If he/she can afford a Robonson R44, then I'm sure 18K for the bike wouldn't have been a stretch. Nice helicopter but very unforgiving of mistakes due to its low inertia teetering rotor head.I rode an orange sports classic demo bike a few years back from the then dealer Veloce Motorcycles in Norfolk, great fun but pretty uncomfortable after three hours. Yours looks immaculate.
Yeah, that thing looks a bit knife edge in unfavourable conditions…. Prefer the S92 I’m boarding this morning…
When blokes get bored with Lamborghini’s, Porsche’s and Ferrari’s…. They play with these. But that thing appears to have the flying characteristics of a brick if it all goes tits… EC135 would be a starting pitch for me. But I’m not rich… drat!
TBF not his. Nice young guy working towards his commercial getting his hours up. Took me for a spin around the block though
