Never particularly felt like doing a track day, never fancied crashing my road bike and i dont have time money or space for a track bike. If they ran a 125/250 day where the bikes were provided or some such i could be tempted though.
There are track days where you can rent bikes, I think they're probably 600cc's, but AFAIK it's quite expensive. I would like to see something like a 500cc limit day, it could help me justify buying another NC30 or even a new ZX4RR to the wife
I bought my wife a brand new Panigale V4S. She’s never ridden a bike in her life… so rather than just waste it…. It’s not easy

Whats the average age at a trackday out of interest? That may be your starting point. I imagine it to be full of pot bellied retirees or nearly theres but maybe thats just me.
I I’d say mostly its a broad age group doing them, from people in their 20s through to “pot bellied” retirees. I’ve even had a 16 year old on a race prepped 125 in Advanced with me!
Yeah also depends on how far into the season it is. More racers early on using it as practice and shake down time and towards end of the year shifts to more of us pot bellied types. As above, had fast teens on race prep 250/400s through to one guy who must of been 70plus who could barely walk but was riding round people in fast group like they were traffic cones!
