V2 Is The V2 Series Ending?

  1. I looks nice but.....
Why can't they do proper specials rather than adding trout lips and scouse brows?
Earlier specials meant something, 851/888 sp things, more tuned 7*8 9** series and the rest. I would much rather have something that performed better than having a bit of slap added.
Or maybe the type of clientele that buy this type of bike now are more slow and very little go.
A great shame and an opportunity missed.
But I bet every one will sell

  2. IMO the perfect V2 would be in red, no silly livery, ohlins front and back, a few decent tasteful anodised bits (not a fan of the back wheel lock)

and some underslung termi exhaust, better brakes on the front

  3. IMO most of the clientele don’t ride at all, they can just afford these follies to sit and look at and think they can make a few quid further down the line.

  4. They've always done Anniversario bikes, the rest are all just paint jobs, and parts bin specials.

  5. Same thing happens in the guitar world. Look at all the meaningless Les Paul special editions that get bought by collectors and never used.

  6. They’ve always done Anniversario bikes, I don’t think I’d call SP models and Senna versions parts bin specials ! The point is they’ve just done too many of them.

  7. I can't wait for the MM93 F...K H...M Edition.. It can't be far away..Anyone looking for mint 1299S and 959 DUC UK Special ltd edition model? Aka parts bin special.. Need a trip to eicma to find my next bikes...

  8. Ducati have their dream marketing tool on the payroll next year, so I would say it is a certainty.
