Today I've made some olive bread and did a chicken and noodle stirfry for lunch. Currently I'm updating Doris's Garmin, as she's apparently incapable of doing anything vaguely technical. Later we are off to my brother's house to have some food and drink and watch the match
Goodwood way too expensive for me so the usual Ardingly autojumble today. A mark V like mine in the carpark with a low eighties number on the top fork yokes.
Yes i'd look with interest at the stuff inside the main sheds, loads of bikes outside with riders taking advantage with the dry weather.
Spent a fair bit of the day in the garden as the weather was decent. Cut the grass, trimmed the big hedge up which filled a ton bag . Lunch and a nap followed.
Last full day in France before returning to rain and traffic. I found the sign marking the Ligne de Demarcation which is where Vichy France and Occupied France met in WW2. The area where we are was a stronghold for the Resistance partly because of this line and the threat of execution if you crossed it.
Test fit of me new back door, only minor planing needed. Just finished rebating in the new door hinges and hole for door lock. Need to order some glass for the other hole. Also got washing hung oot as it’s the 1st dry day in ages .
I've got some satin yacht varnish to apply but I need to do some finishing off and sanding before that happens.
