Found some plastic 'weld' glue that seems to have done the job on an underseat (ASA) plastic panel for the V-Raptor. These are unobtainium apart from carbon replacements at carbon prices so though I give this stuff a go https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372652376101
Got them out. Started them. Reorganised so both easily accessible. Time to start using them or sell!!
Just had a chat with the accounts manager and she informs me, and I quote, ‘on my Nelly’, which I’ve interpreted as negative feedback Last one I had lived a very sedentary life and I fear the same if I were to ‘invest’ in a replacement Keep it and use it.
That’s kind of where I am. I spent the money, it’s a good low miles very early car so if it spends a few years in the garage until circumstances change it’s no biggie
What a good turn you did, whenever I do a good turn like that I just ask that they play the favour forwards and won’t accept money.
Got the Scrambler MoT’d this morning and whilst not specifically bike related, was told by the DVLA, my driving licence was reissued yesterday with my full entitlement of groups. Only taken them 6 months. Andy
Wait until you have to deal with the Land registry for a commercial unit was told 3 months then 8 now March 2025 country has gone to pot with all this it’s my right to work from home and also do the shopping, walk the dog and have a nap in the afternoon, forgot and do the washing, as for the Dvla they were crap before Covid so now 6 months seems a super fast service, On my list and has been for a while a Scrambler, prices are at pretty good prices now for a low mileage one,
Sellers are asking today, what I paid for the Icon 5 years ago. That said, it’s an awesome little bike, great fun despite it’s basic suspension. Andy
300 mile ride today taking in Kirkstone Pass, Hardknott and Wrynose Passes, and Buttertubs Pass. TC came in useful on the sheep poo
