Well I picked this bike up last month as wanted something cheap and easy to ride, a company I do there mots for had it for sale so I had it for a good deal, new tyres, chain and sprockets, rear shock and service were done just after I got it. Its a cracking little bike very nimble , it's so fun to ride.
I had a 2010 Street Triple R for over three years, which was replaced by a 2023 765RS in April. The 2010 bike was a game-changer for me; so much bang for your buck.
Great bikes. I had my first 675 in '07 , did a few euro road trips with it. Now got a 765 , they are a great fun do it all bike
I’ve got a Multistrada and Street Triple R, the newer model with the dame Edna headlamps. I love it, after riding the Multi it’s like bombing around on a 100mph BMX bike and the sound it makes is addictive. If I could tour on it and could only have one bike I’d choose it over the Multi.
Before I passed my test and got my SS The triple was one of my favs I found the nuts and bolts detailing fascinating
I was chatting to a chap at prescott who had the same as mine, he's done over 30k on his , travelled all round Europe on it.
Yes. Plenty on the Street Triple forum have toured on them. I've just always toured on 1000cc+ bikes with a bit of protection against the elements. I need to man up a bit and give it a go. Whats the worse that could happen??
If you are touring ime you need to stick to leather jackets or above 80 it’s intolerable pretty quickly diss to lack of frontal protection from bikes like this. If you do that and travel light, seems as good as any other bike
Went for a good ride on Monday with my mate, he was on the new bmw s1000rr m , other than the long bits of road I wasn't far behind him, round the twisties it's just as quick.
