Went to the Italian day at the Classic Motor Hub yesterday. I found myself walking past the serried ranks of Ferraris and the only modern one that caught my eye was some sortov Lamborghini that looked fabulous purely because it was so outrageously styled (apologies for the poor cropped photo). My fav though was a little Fiat Abarth coupe.
After 4 days walking everywhere it was time for a borrowed / pushbike ride to Selsey of all places through Sidlesham, the last time it was used was a year ago so a little underinflated on front & rear.
relieved to find that a certain motorcycle company has paid for my services in full, and now no need to use underhand tactics by displaying early press release pictures of their forthcoming range of adverts as an incentive.
My Mum had a red Fiat 850 sport like the one in your photo. She was taking me to school one morning and I seem to remember we were running late, (who knows?) and she had the thing sideways around a big downhill left hander, all the way, and I looked over at her and she gave me a guilty smile! She knew what she was doing! What a fucking hoon, I had no idea!
I was kinda ignoring my 16 yr old son Evan as he was saying something....so he shouts out "Talk to me Goose..." My job as a parent is complete
Packed last night for our 8 day mini tour around France, Switzerland and Germany (in the car). I’m taking my wife to see how rubbish Europe is, so when I go on the bike in future, she has more sympathy for me!
Spent the night camping in a very wet water logged site on the banks of the Shannon Decided to have a dry night with dinner at this place.
