Me and a few mates are booked onto that too. Hopefully, the track will actually be finished by then though, and we're holding off booking flights etc until we know for sure I've heard it's making good progress though, and is well on target to be fully open for Sept 1st
I've had confirmation from NL and seen sight of comms from circuit management that it will open Sept 15th as scheduled, circuit is laid and NL have been invited over to inspect
So, my group booking of 20 has now all booked flights, lower and middle groups are sold out and limited spaces left in fast.
It’s looking promising from the pics I’ve seen online, so we’ve all booked flights etc and looking forward to it It’ll be cool going to a circuit where no one has done any laps, so it’ll be a strange time with everyone just trying to work out where it goes on the first day
Was just like that when a few of us were on NLs very first Portimao trip and we were the very first members of the public to ever ride it ... Did you get the NL drop off email earlier?
Update : The circuit officially opened at the weekend with a car track day It looks pretty standard Spanish track with a few stop/start sections, and long kinked straights Should be fun though
Yep, saw that, one of my lot got the circuit manager to send him a vid, think its gone public now, the one off the back of the GT3, should be a fun few days
I’ve seen that one too, but hard to see anything due to the massive wing This is a better one for seeing what the track’s like
It’s a lot like Andalucia circuit, where it’s going to take a bit of learning and is going to suck at first, but will be decent once you’ve got your head around it
