Nothing wrong with being nosey I realise you've just got one yourself so I guess how much I paid does interest you that little bit more! Hope you're enjoying yours?
That looks uncomfortable lol. I had to go fro a tourer as Im getting on a bit. Apart from that it looks AMAZIN'
That didn't last long! Ducati 749R carbon model less than 1000miles For Sale (2004) on Car And Classic UK [C418716]
im just curious - its not the clearest photo but for a 749R - it hasnt got a magnesium headlight unit and looks like the grey alloy type. thats odd as it does have magnesium cam covers ???
Mag headlight support wasn't fitted to the 749R. It does have carbon top fairing brackets tho' It also doesn't come with the carbon seat unit. One of the best modern Ducati's.
got to give it to ducati. bikes around that time seemed a mish mash of whatever parts they had. especially 999s
Lovely bike this forum is making me like the 749 and 999 even more. Don't think I like the price tag though
Lol, agreed. Standard fit on 999r, not standard on 749r. Same as seat unit, carbon on 999r, plastic on 749r. Most 749r have had the mag headlight and carbon seat fitted. Know yours has very low mileage, and is clean. But, do feel £10k asking price is optimistic. A couple on eBay, one around 5,500 mile for less than £7k. Dont get me wrong, I'm not having a go, I hope you get £10k, gives hope to all owners of 749r and there second hand values.
Yes, it's the facts it's basically new that should appeal.... I've seen 2 sell for 8.5k in dealers that weren't that tidy with 10k on them then there's the slightly doggy ones for 6-7k. I'd take an offer on it though, I do have a bit of room on it.
6-7k is about how much a 749r is worth (doggy or not) at the moment IMO. They do not sell for more than that ! A dealer will command an extra £800 maybe........ I can't actually believe you're selling it after 2 months !
