Yes, they look good but are mega money new, mine has done 5.5k miles and was £1300 a complete bargain I think . We went down some lanes and roads I never knew existed last night, then a quick wizz up the dual carriageway at 75mph back home . I did 80 miles and the fuel gauge dropped one bar, no ear plugs needed and visor open all evening. It's the future of biking .....
In laws over last night and the dog seems a bit out of sorts today so the 4 mile walk I had planned we’ve given a miss. So huge bacon and egg roll, a donut and iced finger and now watching BSB on quest. Doggo will get a shower later, he stinks!
Took the golf clubs for a walk. Wife's nephew & his better half are coming over later to go through some old family photos and we'll either go out for something to eat or et a Chinese in.
A bargain indeed - a Chinese job is it? One thing I do miss after retiring and not commuting is time (riding) on the bikes. So summat like that used for all those little errands here & there picking up stuff etc would help in getting my two wheeled fix. And leave the Darmah & Raptor, for high days & holidays.
Landed in Itchenor today and then passed Redlands on the return journey, but after eleven days walking and riding i'll return to Surrey totally and utterly trashed with all this exercise.
rode over to Infinity Motorcycles in Farnborough to hopefully buy some motorcycle boots instead of buying online like i have the last 4 times. Melissa helped me all she could but nothing in my size in several makes (size 11.5 english). I did this around 5/6 years ago with the same result. Only generalising, but it appears that "the shop" is dying/will be dead soon.. Anyone gone to Halfords lately? - you could always rely on good old Halfords to have a set of your favourite spark plugs in stock if all other avenues failed - not anymore..
Had a day by Lake Geneva yesterday, just lounging. Then went into town for dinner last night. Will do the same today!
Nice, and cheaper than the Swiss side, I’ll bet. We’re staying near Nyon, will need a new mortgage when we get back, at this rate!
So, getting my shit together yesterday... 1. Replaced the water filter on the fridge. 2. Washed the car. 3. Serviced the clutch on the hyper. 4. Went to mates house with a load of tools/electrical testing stuff to try to fix my mates RSV1000 - 4 hours later, and a lot of WD40 used we fixed the battery drain issue....
I did the Gatwick run today collecting two persons, apparently i drove in the departures area three times, so i've been told you pay three times. b~~#ks!
