  1. Is is looking quite possible that I'll be able to get my hands on a low mileage (>650miles) for just over £2k. Simple question, yes or no?

  2. Come buy my DR650 cheap as chips to buy and run...and ratty before its starts a winter of salt covered roads :)

  3. Matt - be serious. You on a 125? You'll have to pedal going up hill...

  4. Yes a bit comedy I will admit, but Im going to get stuck on the insurance this year and the little 125 will be cheap to run, insure and tax. Its orange too and I like orange  I will try it first of course

  5. My DR costs me £60 without any NCB ;)

  6. You'll think it's great fun messing about with the traffic until the first time you want some proper power and at that point you'll just scream into your crash helmet. Get something with at least 50bhp of be forever sorry

  7. No, get a 10+ year old CBR600F perfect for the winter and still a bit of street cred!

  8. Then bung some race plastics on it and run it in the steelie class over the summer. Perfect solution.

  9. CBR ? Streetcred? Plantet? Which?

  10. Oh I just remembered what Cranker rhymes with

  11. Indeed Major Failure :upyeah:

  12. Flanker? Banker? Super-style tanker?

  13. Or some other top ranker!

  14. You're pretty close with Banker.

  15. Problem with any 125 is that usually they've been badly ridden by a spotty learner and they're restricted, so gutless.

my money would go on a cheap well maintained BMW F650 Funduro, you can pick up a good but slightly scruffy original un-modified bike for around £1200 and they go on forever.
