Ducati 916 First Every In The Manx In Iom

Holy crap i thought the ads on this site (and crash dot net) were awful but that takes the piss.
Bike looked nice when i finally got there though

What caused the four hour delay/red flag? All ok i hope?

 

I always reject all cookies.

 

Weather, damp and foggy in the morning. Took ages to clear.

Afternoon was a little bit better but not much, racing was on much reduced distances. Weather closed in early evening.

To be honest, the weather scuppered the whole event. Not one single fine full day over the whole event apart from the first Sunday and that got abandoned due to a serious incident.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday quali all canned. Thursday, friday and Saturday evening qualifying canned, Sunday canned, Monday much reduced, most races were one lap affairs.

A very frustrating 10 days, i were there enjoying the experience. Worst iom weather I've ever seen.

I'll be back next year though

 

i messaged them to do a YT video on the bike and all the trick bits on it

 

i just get loads of ads for 'sexy' wear, seems a bit pointless as i lost inertest in that after few days of marriage

I suppose its about as pointless with advertising carbonfibre ducati upgrades on Mumsnet.

 

I use a browser called AdBlock on my phone. I don't get any adverts at all.
