Seems i missed the news after the last round that Dixon is off to Marc VDS next year on a boscoscuru chassis. Not sure what i think of that, when was the last time that they won a title? Frankie?
Where have you been ? The Boscoscuru chassis has, until very recently where Kalex is fighting back, been the chassis to have this year. Seems it suits the Pirelli tyre. Andy
Don’t normally watch FP sessions and then only MGP but found myself watching M3 FP1. All they did was talk about the track, the conditions, tapas and MGP while a few M3 bikes circulated on the greasy track.
I knew about the chassis, didn't know about the dixon switch though and MVDS are still not the team i'd have gone with if given a choice.
Standard Friday morning patter across the season tbh, surprised the hire car hasnt been mentioned yet
I’ve stopped watching FP since someone thought it would enhance my enjoyment by bringing Greg Haines into the commentary team. Andy
I don’t understand or even want to understand it anymore. You could question why almost half the riders are on the grid next year or on the bikes they are. Forget aero and ride height devices blah blah blah silly/contract season is the absolute shittest thing about the sport, bar none.
I like seeing new riders come into the various classes but not if they just ride around at the back. Then again, if you are on a Honda you're gonna be at the back anyway so they may as well give it to anyone
Exactly. I wonder how many extra tv viewers moto gp is going to gain with Chantra riding round at the back and never on camera, than at least having a chance of a win/podium in moto 2. It’s absolute bullshit when you pick the reasoning apart.
And they’re all so desperate to find or identify “the next Marquez” they’ve forgotten about the one they were all wanking into a sock over less than four months ago (Acosta).
I think for the Thai audience they want to see him in the paddock and the revenue it brings in will be massive. That is the only reason i can see they have signed him.
Anyway, looks like knob head number one is finally going to win a race this weekend. Think I’ll be heading out on the bike tmrw afternoon and most of Sunday
MM looking like a contender this weekend. Let us see if he can manage not to trip himself up again, has been his own worst enemy for a few seasons.
Shout out to mr Zarco today btw. First Honda to go straight into q2 all season. Think I’m mentioned in a previous thread he’s been consistently the best Honda rider by and large this year.
Quality rider tbh. Intelligent too, doesn't throw himself needlessly down the road…normally. Pramac made a mistake imo. A win for Honda, shame it is such a dog at most circuits.
