  1. B89A3728-3321-4505-9040-16DA50A93B59.jpeg As the title suggests yep lost my lever ! Could anybody help with which particular lever I need to replace mine with. Searching seems to provide me with various types but I can’t distinguish which one will actually fit. This is my first issue having owned the bike for a few months. Been waiting 2 hours for Ducati Cardiff to ring me back so thought I’d see if I could get any advice here.
The bike is a 2014 1199. I’ve posted an image of what’s left behind. Any help is genuinely appreciated, cheers.

  2. Thank you for the response. Excellent. Looks like there are plenty of bits I need to order along with the lever.
    Appreciate your help.

The image shows the slot not lining up with the hole I believe I need to bolt it to. I’m guessing I can get it to line up by selecting a different gear position. Is my set up standard ?, I don’t know.
Does anyone have the same set up and could possibly post an image.
Nothing is easy for me and I thank you for your patience.
    Cheers

  4. This is the only mod I’ve done since owning. I couldn’t see the kick stand once sat on the bike so pinched one of the grand children’s dolls shoes. I can actually see it a little now. I’m guessing the kick stand isn’t standard.

  5. Nope. The std side stand is alloy. I think you might have the DP rearsets as well or aftermarket at least. A better photo would help but more importantly, the std gear change lever may not fit.

  6. That gear lever is an aftermarket adjustable one, it’s not the standard one in the link provided by Ex Pat Jack.
Looks like the nut has come loose and slid out the adjuster (the black bit).

  8. They are the Ducati Performance rearsets. I have a set, maybe contact ducati. It will have a part no on it. If I remember I can look at mine tonight.

    manual uploaded

BTW, i think theyre adjusted incorrectly. The last pic of the connector, i think that should be thru uppermost hole. (1E)

  9. Big thank you for all your help. I’m one of those people who can’t rest when something like this happens. It just consumes all my thoughts and nothing matters until the bike is fine. Only applies to my bike though.
Just me. Always been that way.
I’m going to do some research into DP parts to see if that helps. Right now obviously.
Once again thank you everyone........and Cardiff Ducati still haven’t returned my call. Great eh !

  10. Please be aware Wes that those rearsets are very desirable. Unless you want to swap the remnants with my old oem set, in which case theyre useless. :) They cost £1500 new I think back in the day.

I note you are in race shift. You should have also been provided with additional tie rods for the QS 93mm and 103mm.

All of which I was/am oblivious to and not sure how much tongue is in your cheek as you write it lol.
No.......genuinely don’t know my way around Ducati’s as I’ve been a blade rider for the last 25 years. One of the reasons I’m out of my comfort zone in relation to getting things put back correctly with the bike.
I’ve just climbed out of the loft to go through the huge parts box I got with the bike hoping for some literature on these to help me out but nothing.
I called Cardiff Ducati back and have emailed them my images to see if they can assist. Guy on the phone seemed confident but we’ll see.

  12. The swap offer for my as new oem set was tongue in cheek. :) I keep all my oem parts.

(I may be a blade rider soon, as the 24 model is very nice...)

  13. Sorry for any miss information. From your photo I could not tell you had the DP rearsets. The sides stand looks like an expensive extra too. Some full on pics of your bike will allow us to help you identify any other goodies it has fitted.
Good luck with Cardiff. If they can’t help then I suggest you try Moto Rapido (Craig or Luke). They are the go to place for many people on this forum and provide brilliant service and advice. I have no affiliation with them by the way.

  14. Also. You can ditch the dolly shoe (!) if you put the toe of your boot up behind the foot peg. It just then lands on the (real) shoe of the stand. Practice makes perfect.

  15. That shoe is clown size compared to what’s below it. Honestly.

  16. Try coming at it like I suggested (from the rear!!) - it’s just a knack.

  17. Might be able to that right now...... just for the time being obviously

  18. Cardiff Ducati £208.......off to work. Thank you for today gentlemen.
