Yesterday’s job

 

Not much oil evident.

 

There’s not, I’ve still to put oil in it

 

Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before it’s back on the road

 

You realise how tiny the bike is when parked next to a couple of modern scooters.

 

Yesterday at Oulton Park...

 

Ready for the season - didn’t had time to take it earlier. All prepped for the weekend after a 2 year stand still.

 

Lovely.

 

Had a great ride in at 5 am, but realised right side indicator has failed at the front.
Swapped bulbs, all good.
Rear right works fine, but in double time.
Any thoughts?

 

Wrong wattage ?

 

Bad earth.

 

Possible wire disconnected?

 

None of the bulbs have actually blown, just the front refuses to work. I have pressed it in and checked connectors. I have a spare indicator unit. Will try that next.

 

I'd suspect the connection underneath the headlight. If you wiggle it, does the front start working?

 

Just put an aftermarket mono seat unit on my bip, always liked the look of the mono's...I know it's cheating , but I don't care!.

 

How bizarre, I took my 996 to a classic vehicle show last Sunday, on the way home, my front right indicator stopped working, when I went to check it, I fiddled with the connectors, and it started working again

 

Just got my 996 back after I sold it 2 years ago to a friend..
