Had my Dura storage units delivered this morning and looking at them they are brilliantly engineered bits of furniture. Far past my expectations. They are being fitted tomorrow so I'll post up a few pics when they are done.
Here are a couple of pics of my man cave. A bit of a work in progress. The ceiling, electrics and flooring are in, but have been in for a while. The eventually thing will be plastered and a thermo garage door installed. There is another half next door, but that is sadly empty having just gotten rid of the roller skate.
Basic, tidy yes, but you also have space to work and walk around without having to move bikes in and out all the time.
Those walls are in desperate need of some white paint and the best way to do the job is with a compressor and spray gun. Double points scored because you have an excuse to buy a new toy and your garage is much lighter.
Ok, so you buy the compressor but don't paint the walls. I was going to add that you should board out the roof to get more room to store shit but it'd be dead money. My wife reckoned I spent more time telling the builders what I wanted doing to the new garage than I did on the rest of the work when we had some major building work done this time last year.
I got a dirty look when I spent a couple of hours putting brackets on one wall of the new garage so I could hang paddock stands and a bead breaker out of the way and get more floor space then I got another dirty look when all the kitchen units we had removed when we extended the kitchen went into the old garage which was converted into a workshop. Anyone would think I didn't want to spend time in the house :biggrin:
