Budget Phone Based Diagnostic Kit

  1. Looks interesting, easier to take on tour then an OBDStar or similar.

A few thoughts, you likely don't know the answers unless you've bought one...

Do you know if it's capable of activating features like spotlights, heated grips etc?

The connection overview infographic mentions binding the VCI when setting up. Does this mean you need to pay an extra licence fee for additional vehicles?

Would be nice to see some screen grabs of the user interface.

  2. The ‘Bind VCI’ appears to relate to the Bluetooth OBD not the bike’s VIN.
For 120 quid full dealer functionality is a big ask. Being phone based it’s portability is a big plus. Unfortunately I have no knowledge of the kit, just came across it on eBay.
