Anyone know of a bike delivery service atall...ive just bought a bike in Darlington - and im in Bristol.... (5 hours) - if i take the wheels and bars off itll go in my Smax but if i can find someone that can drop it off for a reasonable price id much prefer that as i hate driving...especially long distance...!

Called him earlier on - (Carl) - hes in europe at the moment til next week so it might tie in...that being said as theres a bit of a kerfuffle with the engine numbers (currently being sorted) i might still go up myself to verify everything - its a bit of a responsibility to rest that on him... Ironically my oldest mate works at the NCA (so hes gonna call his mate who's in the greater London filth) but initially he said as the DVLA wants checks completed before the engine number is applied to the v5 then when that happens then it should be good...ill know next week.

Sounds like a fixed cost....that being said after i spoke to him (Mr Van Driver) and the back and forth with the V5 - i think it probably best if i collect it myself then i can check that the V5 ties up. Its a bit too much of a responsibility for him to take if it gets to me and theres anything out...if i get it then its on me...

so thatll be 480 quid to collect it...with the wheels off i can get it in the back of my smax....cost me about 60 quid in fuel...
Your choice mate. That was just what he charged me for a couple hours. I too have an S-Max. Fab cars for lugging stuff. Just depends if you're happy to. Your choice.
