Just had a delivery of an eBay purchase I bought a used battery tray for an ST2 Just so that I could get this part, discontinued from the dealers now After a good clean up, and possibly a coat of paint, that should sort out the previous battery clamp mod that has been done to the bike
Intersting but too many enormous photos for those of us still using 20th century copper not-very-broadband.
Is it welded or brazed? I broke mine the same way and bought another one off here. I can weld, but this piece I believe is cast alloy so probably needs AC TIG welding (which I can’t do).

I can't remember who told me that they were the same part, but, I checked it for myself on the bike-parts-ducati website, the ST2 is definitely same part number for the battery clamp as the 996
