  1. :scream: To be fair to you, the job you've done looks very decent indeed. My 'dislike' was for the pannier 'box' set up, which to me, look just like dustbins and make what should be a relatively slimline bike, look like a truck!
Just my opinion and as the saying goes, 'each to their own' and well done to you, for choosing yours. :upyeah:

  3. Brimmed the bike with E10 fuel.

Switched on the ignition and the fuel gauge was reading empty. It was working perfectly 2 minutes previously ffs!

Rode it for a while, went home and put it in the garage. Went out an hour later, switched on ignition and it was working properly again:)

Is this a sign of impending doom for the fuel sender? Anyone else had this happen?

  4. Not sure what bike you have, but common fault with Multistradas.

  5. Yeah, it’s a 2015 Multi 1200S and I am well aware of the problems with the fuel senders.

It’s just that I haven’t heard of one that fixes itself again:D

  6. Done a few more little bits on the Pig, got rid of the cable tie battery clamp mod, and fitted the correct clamp bracket

  14. So the V4 Multistrada has gone then?

  15. It has.

I really loved it and it was brilliant for touring and had every rider aid you can think of to do so.

And though I had the lowered suspension and low seat and could get my feet flat on the ground it was still very top heavy and if the terrain/parking space etc wasn't cock on then I didn't feel 100% comfortable and felt like I could drop it at any time. And having spoken with lots of friends who were a lot taller and heavier than me they said they felt the same too.

With the Diavel having a lower CoG I feel more comfortable with it. I can paddle it around with my feet in tight areas which I couldn't with the Multi, even having my feet flat on the ground.

And the Diavel is good for Doris riding pillion as I've had the touring pack fitted, so it has a back rest, panniers and heated grips. Pity it doesn't have heated seats though. I'll miss that :(

Unfortunately, that will not be for sale, only broken for parts, it is a Cat B, apparently, somebody tried to steel it, and broke the headstock

  18. Yes a 1299 that looks an easy fix. I’m watching an R7 and Z900rs, never heard a bad review about the Z and the R7 just looks ace.
