(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

  1. The R7 is not in the same category as the R6 and R1, they are an online 4 engine, whereas, the R7 is a parallel twin, same as the Ninja 650, with around 68bhp

  2. That blue seat needs to go! New frame on that panigale and it’s good to go, easy job as it’s essentially just a headstock and air box.

  3. Yes I know it’s got the cp2 engine in it , but on our roads it would be fun I reckon

  4. I kinda like the blue seat, but, the bike is not for me, it's my eldest sons bike

  5. That’s a nice present from dad.

  6. I had a Ninja 650, loved it, right up until the day I went out on my 916, and my K5, then checked a friends Ninja 650, and, at that moment, I sort of lost the love for it

I was finding that I had to keep the revs high to keep a good pace, it was a nice, light bike, that you could throw around

  8. Had a play with my new 3D printer today and knocked up a prototype to hold a disk lock where the pillion footpeg mounts. Worked really well and with a tiny tweak will be ready to go for printing in PETG. Really pleased with how it turned out.

  10. Took the 900ss out for a blast. Since its last service and carburettor clean it runs as smooth as a smooth thing and pulls like a train.
Very impressive for 27 year old.

  11. Did 140 miles on the Diavel to get some miles on it before its first service next week, and before I go to Northern Ireland :)

  12. Are you taking the bike, what route have you planned?

  13. Yes, there’s 15 of us all told including @West Cork Paul I believe. This is the route starting and finishing in Belfast.

  14. Looks a good circular trip. I did something similar a few years back on the monster.
The Antrim Road, weather permitting, is perfect, as is Bushmills distillery and Giants Causeway.
If you’re into whiskey I can recommend Crolly Distillery in county Donegal
All in all a good trip awaits.
May the road rise with you as the saying goes.

  15. This morning I’ve sprayed my textiles with waterproofing spray (twice) in anticipation of poor weather next week in Northern Ireland

Later today I will start to sort out my luggage.

  16. Steady now are you trying to start a war………

The road from Larne to Giants Causeway is made for riding/driving along beautiful scenery.

  19. Took delivery of the new rear shock for the MT09... Already have a full weekend planned so fitting will have to wait.

  20. Nice.
I’d be interested in how you get on with it when fitted, I’ve got a Gsxr shock in mine and it transformed it.
